PTI declared on Friday that the 85 seats in the National Assembly that the party had won on February 8th had been “snatched” and called the purported election tampering the “biggest attack on democracy” in Pakistan.

Speaking to the media in Islamabad, the party asserted that PTI-backed independents had won 179 seats overall and that the number of votes that were rejected in support of the party exceeded the number of votes that were cast in favor of it.

At the press conference were PTI’s Information Secretary Raoof Hasan, Sher Afzal Marwat, Salman Akram Raja, and Rehana Dar, among other politicians who have contested their election results in various venues.

Hassan went on to elaborate on the assertions, stating that the party has data for 46 seats and that the remaining seats’ data will be finished in the coming day.

PTI leader Shandana Gulzar claimed that although the party ran candidates from a wide range of Karachi constituencies, it only received 1.25 million votes in the port city. Our NA seat count was 154 as of 3 p.m. Although the electoral commission awarded us only 32 seats, we had 42 in K-P.”

She said that as “night fell, the results were changed” and that PTI’s poll workers were thrown out of voting places.

Seemabia Tahir stated that Dr. Yasmin Rashid of the PTI was leading NA-130, but Nawaz Sharif became victorious on February 9.Additionally, the NA-47 results were manipulated to harm Shoaib Shaheen. “PTI achieved a significant lead in NA-56 Rawalpindi, but PML-N’s Hanif Abbasi stole our mandate as night fell.”

Similarly, NA-236 was likewise intended for manipulation. Tahir said, “We won every seat in Karachi, but we weren’t proclaimed the winners on a single one.

Leading party figure and accomplished attorney Salman Akram Raja asserted that “from the polling station to the RO’s office” there was election manipulation. “As per Form 45, the results that were supposed to be declared were altered substantially. On the evening of February 8, they rigged the elections as far as they could.”

“Prior to the polls, security forces were used fully and independent candidates were denied the right to campaign for elections,” stated Raja.

“The senior attorney emphasized that these elections are a clear assault on democracy.”

Imran Khan, the former prime minister and founding chairman of the Pakistan Terrorists, has already called for the US to take a firm stand against “rigging” the country’s most recent general elections.

PTI leader Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif told the media that the former prime minister had pressured the US to adopt a more stringent position on the latest general elections after meeting Imran in Adiala Jail. He was joined by former speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser.

He went on to describe Imran as saying that given the way the PTI was eliminated from the polls, the US need to speak out more.
