Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered compassionate guide to North Korea, which has been hit by weighty rainfalls and floods, Pyongyang’s state media KCNA said on Sunday.

Putin made the offer in a message that was sent to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Saturday through the Russian embassy in Pyongyang. Relations between the two countries have improved. The message sent by the Russian leader showed support and sympathy.

According to KCNA, Putin demonstrated “his willingness to provide immediate humanitarian support for the flood damage recovery.”

Kim said thanks to the proposition however said since his administration has proactively gone to lengths to direct recuperation work, he would request help “assuming guide is fundamental,” it added.

According to KCNA, the northwestern regions of the North have been hit hard by heavy rains in recent days, flooding more than 4,000 homes and isolating approximately 5,000 people. Kim personally went through the affected areas and oversaw the efforts to rescue people.

KCNA didn’t make reference to a different proposition last week by South Korea to give help supplies to flood harm yet made an announcement by the North’s unfamiliar service scrutinizing late joint military drills between South Korea and the U.S.

On Thursday, South Korea’s unification service taking care of between Korean issues said examining flood help with the North’s Red Cross, an interesting effort under President Yoon Suk Yeol was prepared.
