According to a statement from the military, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), and Dr. Salah bin Mohammad Al-Budair, the Imam of Masjid-e-Nabvi (PBUH), met today at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), both dignitaries reflected on the long-standing and solid relationship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan while discussing a range of topics of mutual interest during their visit.
The head of the army greeted the Imam with great affection and acknowledged the importance of his visit and how it would improve relations between the two countries.
Dr. Salah highlighted Pakistan’s contributions to regional peace and stability while praising the nation’s crucial position in the Muslim world.
He praised Pakistan’s initiatives and its advantageous location in promoting unity among Muslim countries.
Imam Masjid-e-Nabvi concluded the conference with prayers for the harmony, peace, and stability of the Muslim Ummah, highlighting the common dedication to collaboration and well-being of the group.
