The actress posted a video of herself on Sunday feeding fish by tossing meat and bread into a river. Even though it was a wonderful deed, she also dumped plastic bags in the water, which angered others and made them call her out for her careless behavior.

In an interview with Geo. tv, Resham detailed her two-day trip to Charsadda, where she visited the flood victims and fed aquatic creatures on the way back.

The actress retaliated angrily at online commenters who had harshly criticized her, saying: “Being human, we all make errors. People’s criticism of me is not a huge thing. Their criticism doesn’t bother me.”

She went on to claim that because she “did not even realize that she was contaminating the river by disposing of plastic therein,” she was a “harmless individual.”

She went on to state that once she got back from Charsadda, she noticed that she was trending on social media. It looked as though I had polluted the entire universe rather than merely throwing two bags into the ocean.

People are targeting me, she claimed, as if I had done a sin and that is why there have been floods and other natural disasters.

Resham went on to say that this occurred as a result of COVID having twice impacted her brain. “The effects of COVID, which I’ve had twice, are still present. I misplace items and can’t recall my activities from four hours ago. This is why I flung the bags carelessly since I was unaware of what I was going to do.”
