Shan Foods, one of Pakistan’s greatest brands of flavors and spice mixes, is back with a heart-winning TVC that breaks all barriers to support women especially our doctor bahus (daughters-in-law)

What it’s all about?
The ad is about a doctor (Ushna Shah) taking the Hippocratic Oath at a ceremony that she will devote her life to serve the wellness of humanity. Her practicing medicine is only possible because of support from her mother-in-law (Saba Faisal) who takes care of her child and looks after the household chores. The message it is imparting is to facilitate all women to take their own decision about pursuing a career. It sheds light on the barriers that female may face after marriage. The realistic campaign takes the brand’s core message that we as a society need to value and support women with compassion.  The product is weaved in the story beautifully and highlights how Shan Foods brings out the ease of cooking.

Our Favourite Moments
Some of the heart-melting bits include when the mother-in-law cooks food (using Shan, of course) and takes it for her daughter-in-law to the hospital. The happiness and glow in Shah’s eyes to see Faisal is a testimony of how small acts of encouragement can make a huge difference, the importance of celebrating and appreciating women for a better future, for themselves and those around them.
