A first information report (FIR) was filed against Sher Afzal Khan Marwat, Senior Vice President of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and workers for holding a workers’ gathering in Swabi on Saturday.
People from the local PTI and others have been arrested for breaking Section 144.

In August of this year, more than 90 PTI workers were arrested in different districts of K-P for staging protests against the detention of Imran Khan, who was the chairman of the party at the time.
