KARACHI:
On Thursday, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) hosted a team of MNAs and MPAs from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P). During their visit, the group had meetings with Kamran Nagi, the general manager, and Imran Maniar, the managing director.
In their individual constituencies, especially in Karachi, the delegation addressed a number of urgent issues, like as load shedding, low gas pressure, pipeline leaks, and the conversion of pipelines to PV pipes. MNAs Asia Ishaq, Ahmed Saleem Siddiqui, and Amir Moin Pirzada were among the delegation members, along with MPAs Najam Mirza, Taha Khan, Shariq Jamal, Mouaz Mehboob, and Adil Askari.
They communicated the public’s worries about the reduction in gas pressure and the suspension of home consumers’ access to gas. In regions where gas service has been completely suspended, the delegation called for the prompt restoration of gas supply. Every three months, the parties committed to meet regularly to discuss public problems.
