ISLAMABAD — According to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan is no longer in risk of defaulting on its debts as a result of the difficult decisions that were made by the coalition government.

The prime minister stated that the government is making every effort to further bolster the national economy and is working hard to reduce price increases and provide assistance to the general population through the implementation of priority measures.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz conveyed these opinions during a conversation with a delegation from Jefferies, a renowned global investment banking and capital markets firm. Ishaq Dar, Minister of Finance, was also present during the meeting and contributed his thoughts.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed sadness over the fact that inaccurate rumours were being propagated about Pakistan’s economy and that despicable efforts were being made to cause chaos.

He claimed that the coalition government, without caring about the political price, saved the country from the effects of the previous PTI-led regime’s “maladministration” during the course of the previous four years, and he said that they did this without caring about the political price.

He also reaffirmed that efforts are being made by the administration to lower the trade imbalance and provide all feasible facilities to international companies.

After extending a warm welcome to the team, the Prime Minister of Pakistan extended an invitation to the company to establish an office in Pakistan.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan was able to effectively confront the country’s economic issues and put the nation on the path toward economic stability, which the delegation hailed as a positive indication for the country’s economic recovery.
