Muhammad Ali Durrani, a former federal minister and high-ranking politician, is very worried about where the newest American weapons and technology are coming from and how they are being sold to terrorists fighting in Pakistan.
“Where are the terrorists fighting against Pakistan obtaining the latest American weaponry?” Durrani asked as he called for an investigation into what happened.
“These investigations must be carried out to find terrorists and end the scourge of terrorism,” he said in a statement released on Sunday.
He stated that the United States of America (USA) should offer Pakistan cutting-edge technology as it would benefit both the US and the safety of the whole world.
“There is a chance of another 9/11 happening if terrorists are not stopped from getting the newest weapons,” Durrani said.
The former minister said that the fact that terrorists can get high-tech weapons is a threat to both regional and world security.
“The newest American weapons are being used to start a new war against Pakistan,” he said. In this case, the US should help Pakistan fight terrorists by giving them the newest technology. He said, “It is in the US’s best interest to help bring peace to the area.”
It was Durrani who said that American technology and weapons are being used by Israel against the Palestinians and by terrorists against Pakistan. He also said that the fact that terrorists have these kinds of weapons and technology brings up a lot of questions that can’t be overlooked.
As Senator Durrani put it, stopping the flow of new technology and weapons to terrorists and terrorist groups is the job of the United Nations and especially the United States.
“The goal of terrorists, be they state or non-state actors, is to sow chaos, posing a threat to the safety and security of the world,” Durrani stated.
In his speech, he said that the Pakistani people and their military had defeated terrorism through unmatched bravery and sacrifice. He also said, “All political parties, institutions, and the masses will have to stay united and move forward with a comprehensive and robust plan of action.”
He said that the Pakistani people and military forces would beat terrorists again, even though they were using American weapons and technology.
