The British High Commission held a hands-on training workshop on climate journalism on Tuesday for over 100 journalists from 35 media outlets and research institutes.
The journalists engaged in conversations that emphasised the critical role that journalism plays at the forefront of climate change by delving into complex issues related to climate change and nature preservation. They sharpened their abilities to successfully communicate climate stories to their audiences and investigated ways to find genuine climate tales at the local level.
“Journalists are essential in assisting Pakistanis in comprehending the impact of climate change on their lives,” stated Jo Moir, Development Director of the British High Commission, during her speech.
