At his year-end press conference, he stated, “There are several unambiguous things that we believe the Taliban must provide from the point of view of the interests of the international world and from the point of view of Afghanistan itself.”
The secretary-general emphasised that all ethnic groups in Afghanistan should be represented, saying that they “must deliver on inclusion in the political institutions in Afghanistan.”
The right of women to work and the right of girls to attend education at all levels without discrimination are two examples of the second facet of human rights, according to him.
