The US calls on all parties to “refrain from violence” in response to the Imran incident. Imran’s “rapid recovery” is hoped for by the national security advisor.

After Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI, narrowly escaped an attempted murder, the United States called on “all parties to remain calm and desist from violence” on Friday.

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan posted on his official Twitter account that the US “strongly condemns the attack on Imran Khan and his supporters” and expressed hope for “his fast recovery and those who were injured.”

He also expressed his sympathies to the family of the victim of the incident.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had previously denounced the shooting incident.

“The shooting of Imran Khan during a political event is highly condemned by the US. We send our best wishes for a speedy recovery to him and all those hurt, and we extend our condolences to the relatives of the deceased “Added he.

Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada, strongly denounced the assault.

“I vehemently condemn the attack on Imran Khan and his followers, which is totally reprehensible. It has no place in our culture, in politics, or in any democracy. I’m wishing Imran and everyone else who has hurt today a swift recovery “On his official Twitter account, Trudeau posted.
