30 day sentence for more than 100 PTI workers.
80% of the PTI employees who have been detained, according to the interior minister, want to be released.

ISLAMABAD: According to Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, some 100 people have so far threatened to be arrested in response to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan’s call for a 30-day detention movement known as “Jail Bharo.”
More than 80% of those detained, the minister remarked during a news conference in Islamabad, wanted to be released, but he insisted that they be detained in jails outside of important towns like Rawalpindi and Lahore.
In the “Jail Bharo” movement, there are 100–125 persons who are [courting arrest], but 80% of them wished to be released, the minister said at the news conference. He continued, “Distant jails would be filled first, then Lahore and Rawalpindi jails.
Imran has made plans for his “Jail Bharo Tehreek” in an effort to draw attention to the policies of the government and compel the ruling coalition to call for elections. The arrest of a few top party leaders last week served as the catalyst for the action.
“All individuals have been held for 30 days. You have been put to jail because you requested to be there, the minister told the press. He said mockingly, “We are throwing you in jail so that you may familiarise yourselves with the conditions there.
Many petitions have been submitted to the Lahore High Court (LHC) thus far, expressing concern that the PTI leaders and employees in custody may have been sent to “some unknown places” to “abuse” them or that they may have been named in fabricated cases.
