The head of the new Ishtehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), Jahangir Khan Tareen, has once again attacked Imran Khan, who used to be his boss, saying that Khan has become a “different man” since he took power.

Tareen said he had high hopes for a leader who supported the idea of a “Naya Pakistan” (new Pakistan), but he was sad that these dreams had not been realized.
At the opening of the party divisional secretariat office in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, he said that even though he was treated unfairly by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, he chose not to get involved in those issues and instead kept an eye on what was going on.
He also said, “I have done a lot for myself, and now I want to do something for the country.”
He promised to make Pakistan a better place to live, where justice is done, jobs are plentiful, and the leaders are trustworthy. During the event, Tareen praised how excited the people were and said that this was just the start.
According to Tareen, even though he had high hopes for Imran Khan, those dreams were dashed when he became prime minister. “The person who sat in the prime minister’s chair on the first day was not the same person,” he said, adding that jailing Aleem Khan was a terrible mistake.
In a speech at the event, IPP President Aleem Khan said that deputy commissioners were hired for Rs30 million and commissioners for Rs50 million as gifts under the PTI government.
“What the PTI had going for it was Usman Buzdar, who couldn’t read English, Urdu, or Punjabi.” Farah Gogi was hired after I brought up the problem of corruption. “I spent 100 days in prison during the time of my own party,” he said.
It was disappointing for Aleem Khan to say that he had been sent to jail for 100 days while his party was in power. Aamir Kiyani was one of the party’s founders and worked for the PTI for 26 years. He was also talked about.
Kiyani stayed true to the PTI even though he had chances to join other parties and become a minister, but Aleem Khan says he was made fun of within the party.
