According to Express PK, an additional district and sessions court denied Dania Shah’s request to file a murder complaint about the death of televangelist Aamir Liaquat Hussain. A First Information Report (FIR) for Hussain’s “suspected murder” was filed by his third and final wife in June of last year.

The complaint stated that Shah had obtained a video showing Hussain receiving Rs250 million from unidentified individuals in February of last year. Hussain’s body was discovered at his home in Karachi on June 9.

The plea claims that the deceased host stored Rs30 million in the bank and another Rs20 million in a safe at his Khudadad colony home, which is where he was murdered. In her taped statement, Shah identified Mumtaz, Ali Javaid, Saqib, and Abbas, as well as three others.

According to his servant Javaid, Hussain, who was also a PTI MNA from a Karachi constituency, was discovered unconscious at his home in Khudadad Colony of the city last year. The 50-year-old was taken to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save his life. Hussain had already died 15-20 minutes before he was taken to the hospital, as confirmed by Ramzan Chippa, the president of the Chippa Welfare Trust.

On July 5, 1972, he entered this world. He leaves behind two offspring. Hussain hosted numerous game shows during Ramazan transmissions, which air before and after Iftaar. In 2001, he joined a private news station and began his media career, where he became widely known as the host of Aalim Online. His ties to Express Media Group also remained strong. Over the course of his career, he never stopped hosting Ramazan programs.
