At a press conference in ISLAMABAD, Balochistan’s current leader, Mir Quddus Bizenjo, said he would not support Ali Mardan Domki’s candidature as interim CM.

The committee in the legislature is now in charge of finding a qualified nominee.

According to reports, Chief Minister Bizenjo mysteriously vanished after turning over control of all protocol vehicles to the employees of Balochistan House in Islamabad.

Parliamentary committee members waited till 3 a.m., according to a senior leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), but CM Bizenjo did not show up. Due to the political nature of the matter, the leader has asked to remain anonymous.

Opposition leader Malik Sikandar Advocate proposed a three-member committee consisting of Abdul Wahid Siddiqui, Haji Nawaz Kakar, and Younas Aziz Zehri because the parliamentary committee has taken on the responsibility of naming the caretaker CM.

Mir Quddus Bizenjo, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, and Zamarak Achakzai, all sitting on the government benches, will vote on who will serve as the interim chief minister.

The CM’s close allies have revealed his staunch opposition to Ali Mardan Domki’s candidature, with Mir Hamal Kalmati and Senator Kahuda Babar among his proposed replacements.

The JUI parliamentary committee has proposed Mir Usman Badini and Ali Mardan Domki for interim CM. Because of this, the opposition in the Balochistan Assembly is split.

In a letter to the Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Malik Naseer Shahwani, the legislative leader of the Balochistan National Party (BNP), voiced his opposition to the JUI’s choice for temporary chief minister.

Sardar Akhtar Mengal, leader of the BNP, met with Maulana Fazalur Rehman, leader of the JUI, to try to establish some middle ground.

Unfortunately, the two groups were unable to agree on a single candidate for the position of Balochistan’s chief minister.

While parties are talking and trying to figure out a solution, the situation is still fluid.
