Imran, taking the attack, questions how Shehbaz can be so brazen in his behavior.
Ten months of economic hardship, a decline in human rights, and a breakdown of the rule of law are what Imran laments.

Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), ccriticizedthe coalition government’s 10 months of “fascist” rule on Friday as his party declined to attend a meeting of the top committee that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had summoned.
Imran tweeted that he would not recognize “this imported government installed by conspiracy and horse-trading,” maintaining his prior opposition to the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) government.
The tweet said, “How can Shehbaz Sharif be so shameless when his administration has destroyed our economy and democracy in just 10 months with flagrant fascism, the elimination of fundamental rights, and the spread of terrorism under his watch?
The tweet included a brief summary of the political persecution the PTI and its allies claim they experienced under the previous administration, including the arrest and alleged torture of leaders like Shahbaz Gill and Azam Swati in addition to the murder of journalist Arshad Sharif and an alleged attempt on Imran’s life.
The tweet was sent out following the PTI’s rejection of a request from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to speak at the top committee’s hearing on the Peshawar mosque tragedy.
The PTI leadership has chosen not to attend the apex committee meeting today to examine the terror attack that took place in Peshawar, according to PTI Spokesperson Shaukat Yousafzai.
Yousafzai questioned how the PTI could take part in such a meeting while denouncing the government’s policies.
It should be remembered that the prime minister had urged all political parties to work together in an effort to create a unified front to fight terrorism in the nation.
He had previously added, “My message to all political groups is one of solidarity against anti-Pakistan extremists. We can fight our political disputes later.”
The government then proceeded to detain the former interior minister Shiekh Rashid on Thursday, and there have also been allegations of a raid at the residence of the former chief minister of Punjab, Pervaiz Elahi. Both men have been staunch allies of the PTI.
