Imran kicks off his election campaign with a massive event in Lahore.
The leader of the PTI has stated that he is waging a war for the country, and he has announced that the next power show will take place at Miner-e-Pakistan on Sunday.

Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former prime minister, presided over the party’s election rally on Monday in the capital of Punjab, marking the first election-related activity in more than four months.
Imran officially began the PTI’s canvassing campaign in Punjab, where the provincial assembly elections will be conducted on April 30, with a massive power display. He declared that the party’s upcoming power exhibition would take place on Sunday at Miner-e-Pakistan.
Originally planned to take place on March 12, the event was postponed after the local government issued a ban on public meetings in the city under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The PTI chairman will now lead the march on Monday (CrPC).
The protest route, which started at Imran’s home in Zaman Park and went through Iqbal Road, Dharampura, Garhi Shahu, the Railway Station, Delhi Gate, Shah Alam, and Lohari Gate, began at Imran’s home. At Data Darbar, where Imran spoke to his followers, it came to an end.
The PTI leader criticised the government for calling off the demonstration while speaking from his armoured car. He claimed that after stopping his march on March 8 and again on March 12, authorities still refused to let it.
Imran warned that the nation was on the danger of disintegrating and said that he was fighting this “war” for the country. He continued, “I ask all countrymen to join this fight to achieve ‘Haqeeqi Azadi’ (genuine freedom) because we must work together to rescue the country.
“The imported government is trying dirty tricks to prevent us from taking part in the elections and, as a result, force us out of the electoral contest,” he added. As a result, we experienced many obstacles in our efforts to hold the rally.
The government is filing fictitious charges against me and my fellow PTI leaders, I said. A fresh complaint is filed against me every day. I have currently been the subject of more than 80 cases, he continued.
Imran remarked that the ‘Toshakhana’ [state repository of the gifts] list brought truth to the fore and exposed those who had plundered the national resources. He was referring to the disclosure of the list of gifts received by the country’s senior leaders during the past 20 years.
“The foreign funding case will also reveal the truth, which will shock everyone. The PML-N [Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz] and the PPP [Pakistan Peoples Partyforeign ]’s funding will also be made public, he continued.
Imran thanked his supporters for the overwhelmingly positive response to his rally and stated that the turnout showed why the administration was hesitant to approve it because they knew that the public would turn out in large numbers.
Imran stated in reference to the violence on last Wednesday: “I want to tell the people that the police brutality and the murder of our party worker Zil-e-Shah will not be forgotten or forgiven. He promised that those who perpetrated atrocities will be brought to account.
Imran invited people to the event at Minar-e-Pakistan by announcing the PTI’s upcoming power show on Sunday, March 19. In order for everyone to witness how many people were supporting his fight for “Haqeeqi Azadi,” he continued, the rally would be held in broad daylight.
While Section 144 was in effect, the local authorities erected barricades surrounding Zaman Park and along the rally’s route. The police took preventative action by placing containers on roads in a number of locations, which delayed traffic.
