According to Maryam, Imran is more interested in attending demonstrations than going before the courts.
A senior of the PML-N has stated that Pakistan is in danger due to political polarization.

Maryam Nawaz, senior vice president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), stated on Monday that Imran Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), showed his face when summoned by the court but was always prepared to attend political rallies.
Maryam, the PML-newly N’s designated chief organiser, claimed during a ceremony in Lahore that Pakistan was not under external attack but that political polarisation was a threat to the nation.
She declared, “There will be no compromise on anything when it comes to the country, no plot against the country, and the nation will be permitted to succeed.
During his tenure in office, she alleged, Imran turned the PML-N into the target of political retaliation, but he did it while using the citizens’ children as human shields.
She said, “Imran Khan claims that Maryam is permitted to campaign while I am not, although Section 144 and other limitations were applied even during Imran Khan’s time. She called Imran a coward for using others to defend himself.
“Nawaz Sharif did not send the sons of the nation to jail but he himself went to jail with his daughter,” she remarked. Imran Khan was instructed to hide under the bed by “Who? Imran Khan displays the plaster but is always prepared for demonstrations when this court calls,” she continued.
Maryam claimed that Nawaz was the first person in Pakistani history to complete the International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme.
She said that the specifics of the Toshakhana controversy were made public by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, “proving” that Imran “stole” from Toshakhana while she was “falsely accused” of taking a watch from it.
Additionally, she questioned how a so-called leader could defend the rights of the nation’s youth if he was unable to own his daughter and couldn’t grieve with the family of party member Zil-e-Shah. The PML-N leader noted that Zil-e-Shah was a political worker and that Maryam respected all political workers.
She said it was distressing that the body had been left at the hospital and that the PTI leader had politicised the death of his employee, who gave his life in the service of the party, by not sparing his body.
Maryam argued that instead of making meaningless speeches like the PTI, political parties should act in a meaningful way to integrate young people into society. She added that all political parties should take action to ensure that young people are well-represented in parliament.
Being the largest stakeholder in the development of the nation, the youth, she continued, political dialogue was essential in the society and including them was critical.
The PML-N leader claimed that the success of her party, which is led by Nawaz, is obvious given the numerous steps taken during the party’s tenures to empower young people and provide them with all necessary resources for their education.
Shehbaz made history in Punjab by founding the Punjab Education Endowment Fund, which provided local and foreign scholarships as well as monthly stipends to worthy, intelligent students.
The PML-launch N’s of the laptop programme, which allowed gifted pupils to interact with the rest of the world via the internet, was another signature effort. She continued by listing further accomplishments of the previous administration led by her party.
According to Maryam, the PML-N left office in 2018 with a growth rate of 6%, however the PTI rolled back economic advances and reduced the GDP growth rate to roughly 2% during its four years in power.
She proclaimed that only a “daring and devoted leader” like Nawaz could lead the nation out of difficulties and added that he served the country to the best of his ability whenever the Pakistani people gave him the chance.
The PML-N leader alleged that the PTI administration created false cases against the PML-N leadership and resorted to “worst victimisation” of them. She said, “The entire leadership confronted the allegations and testified in court, but there was no evidence to support any PML-N leader.
She urged the kids to exercise caution before joining a group holding events “simply to cause disturbance and attain personal aims,” as they have no plans for the youth.
