The issue of Naqvi’s ‘illegitimate assets’ has been referred to the PAC by the NA.
Speaker, PML-N’s Ayaz Sadiq asks you to have the investigation wrapped up in ten to fifteen days.

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the National Assembly (NA) has been tasked with investigating allegations of “amassing illegitimate assets” by Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi of the Supreme Court (SC). This happened on Thursday.
Senior PML-N leader Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, speaking to deputy NA speaker Zahid Akram Durrani today in the NA, stated that it is the job of the NA to probe the charges and “clear the name of the honorable judge.”
Sadiq continued, saying it was really “hurtful to see” since “all judges are honorable for us.”
The PML-N leader, alluding to Justice Naqvi, claimed that “all other judges are being defamed because of one judge.”
“I would request you to refer this matter to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) with the direction to complete the inquiry within 10-15 days,” Sadiq stated to the deputy NA speaker.
He also suggested that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) form a combined team with the Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) to undertake a special audit.
Since the beginning of this year, the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) has been investigating allegations of “misconduct” and “amassing illegitimate assets” made against Justice Naqvi.
Justice Naqvi was accused of breaking the rule of behavior for Supreme Court justices imposed under Clause (8) of Article 209 of the Constitution, and this was all thanks to lawyer Mian Dawood.
Dawood tweeted that the SJC reference was made “on the grounds of misconduct, creation of illegal assets, and amassing wealth through frontmen.”
The SC judge and his family were “involved in following malpractices and misuse of power in a criminal-designed pattern during his service,” as stated in the cited source.
Justice Naqvi is accused of using his position “to facilitate his sons and a daughter studying abroad and getting financial gains from Zahid Rafique” in the lawsuit.
Furthermore, the complaint states that the SC judge “openly flaunts his relation with the PTI and its leader Imran Khan” and that he has “influenced” and “manipulated” legal cases, as well as the claim that “cases are being fixed” in his court.
