A suicide bomber detonated his explosives near a paramilitary force vehicle in Peshawar on Tuesday, wounding eight service members and killing himself, according to police in ISLAMABAD.

An attack was blamed on the recently formed extremist group Tehreek-e-Jihad Pakistan.
Under the condition of anonymity, a senior police official stated, “One [was] martyr[ed], seven injured but all stable.”
Prof. Shehzad Akbar Khan, medical director of the Hayatabad Medical Complex, said that the facility treated two patients injured in the blast; both were listed as stable.
The rest of the injured, he claimed, were sent to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
According to the authorities, the explosion in Peshawar was a suicide bombing that targeted a truck belonging to the paramilitary Frontier Corps.
After 12 of its soldiers were killed in two separate attacks on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Pakistani army voiced its deepest concerns on Friday, saying it would take a “effective response” if militants found safe havens in neighboring Afghanistan.
Since the terrorists and the government called off their truce in late 2022, they have stepped up their attacks, including the bombing of a mosque in Peshawar that killed over a hundred people at the beginning of this year.
A military base in Balochistan was targeted by the same insurgent organization last week.

Seven troops and a civilian were killed in the ensuing gun battle. Six extremists were murdered after being trapped in a building complex, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The ISPR reported that an attack occurred early on Friday morning on a Frontier Corps (FC) Camp in the Muslim Bagh region of northern Balochistan.
Military sources have reported that at least two terrorists have been killed and that the Commander of the 12th Corps is overseeing security operations in the Muslim Bagh area of Balochistan.
