On his visit to the areas affected by the earthquake, Prime Minister Shehbaz pledged Turkey his full support.
The Prime Minister travels to the epicenter of the earthquake and presents relief supplies to Turkish authorities.

The Turkish government’s rehabilitation and reconstruction operations will receive “maximum help,” according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who made the pledge on Friday.
According to government statistics, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the area in the middle of the night on February 6 has killed at least 38,044 people in southern Turkey.
As chances of rescuing any more survivors alive started to fade, agencies started to concentrate more on the homeless and penniless survivors who had already been pulled from the rubble.
Today, PM Shehbaz travelled to Adiyaman, a city ravaged by the disaster, as part of his two-day visit of support.
The Turkish trade minister Mehmet Mus, the minister of communication Adil Ismailoglu, the governor of Adiyaman Mahmut Cuhadar, the head of the Turk-Pakistan Friendship Group in the Turkish parliament Ali Shaheen, and other high-ranking officials welcomed the prime minister when he arrived at the airport in Adiyaman.
The Pakistani nation’s sympathy were expressed by the prime minister to the earthquake victims who lost their families during his interactions with them.
PM Shehbaz gave the Turkish government and the afflicted citizens assurances that Pakistan would offer the ally nation every assistance it could to deal with the destruction.
He referred to Turkiye as Pakistan’s ally and brotherly nation and expressed his hope that it would persevere through its difficult times.
On his visit, the premier also delivered the aid supplies—which mostly consisted of winterized tents—to the Turkish officials. The Pakistan Air Force brought the aid supplies in a specialised aircraft.
Shehbaz also got to know the Pakistani rescue crews that took part in the hunt.
An 85-member urban search and rescue team, a 10-member search and rescue team, and a 10-member medical team were sent by Pakistan to support the relief efforts in both Turkey and Syria.
The federal cabinet also decided on Thursday to deliver 20,000 quilts to the earthquake victims and instructed the Finance Department to make a Rs. 50 million donation in support of the initiative.
