PTI would reach out to political parties with a “like-minded” approach to uphold the Constitution.
Imran has stated that the entire nation needs to work together to stop the onslaught of the judicial system.

LAHORE:
Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has tasked his party leaders with reaching out to other like-minded political parties and members of civil society in order to support the supremacy of the Constitution and the judicial system, according to Express News on Sunday.
According to Express News, Imran Ismail, a former governor of Sindh, and Haleem Adil Sheikh, the opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly, met with Imran Khan in Lahore’s Zaman Park.
The former prime minister tasked the PTI leaders with reaching out to other political parties that shared their views and engaging with civil society to promote the rule of law and the supremacy of the Constitution.
Imran claimed that the nation as a whole needs to come together to halt the ongoing attacks on the judiciary. The PTI president instructed that “all the political parties who wish to stand up for the supremacy of the Constitution should be approached.”
Sheikh stated that after being given this duty, “Sindh’s political, religious, and nationalist parties, as well as civil society, will be contacted,” adding that the entire country must unite in support of the rule of law.
In an effort to support the “rescue the Judiciary” movement, PTI Secretary General Asad Umar met Jamaat-eIslami chairman Siraj ul Haq the day before at the political-religious party headquarters Mansoora Markaz.
“Bilawal criticizes the Constitution of Bhutto”
Speaking to the media in Karachi today, PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi claimed that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chair Bilawal Bhutto was criticizing the Constitution that his grandfather had introduced in 1973.
The PPP, according to the former minister, is proud of the Constitution that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s administration drafted while he served as prime minister, president, and leader of the party.
He referred to the party’s evolution “from Bhutto to Zardari,” noting that Asif Ali Zardari’s son is “destroying” the Constitution, which Zulfiqar had introduced.
He continued, “Bilawal has joined those authorities that are harming the Constitution.
Qureshi urged all political parties, in particular the PPP, to declare whether they support or oppose the Constitution.
The former ruling party’s request that political parties state their positions comes after the coalition government held a crucial meeting on Saturday and decided that any decision made by the three judges in the case would be “unacceptable” in anticipation of a negative ruling from the Supreme Court bench in the Punjab elections delay case.
The ruling parties had expressed their lack of faith in the three-judge panel, which was made up of Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Ijazul Ahsan, and Justice Muneeb Akhtar, noting that the majority of justices had decided against getting involved in the case.
