Sana reveals the ‘disturbing’ PTI scheme she discovered
An intercepted phone call, according to minister, discloses plot to rape fictitious acquaintance in order to discredit the government.

According to Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, a conversation was intercepted revealing that members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) planned to create a false encounter and rape incident on Saturday night.
The minister, speaking at an emergency press conference early on Sunday morning, accused the PTI of hatching a horrific scheme to place worldwide blame for these tragedies on the government and its institutions.
The minister said the two sorts of arrangements were being made in the intercepted call without disclosing the identities of the parties involved or the contents of the conversation.
To prove to the world that Pakistan is committing massive human rights abuses, he added, one option was to attack the home of a PTI worker, open fire there, and cause deaths.
The second, the minister said, involved staging a rape and distributing a recording of it to international media to spread allegations of abuse against the PTI.
The minister explained that he chose to inform the country via television screens at midnight because he believed that the phony encounter and rape plans were going to be carried out on Saturday night.
According to Sanaullah, the objective was to make it seem like intelligence and law enforcement officers were to responsible for a fictitious contact with a PTI worker during a purported raid on the person’s home and a subsequent fake rape.
A former US envoy, Zalmay Khalilzad, was allegedly being paid to operate against Pakistan, another allegation he made. Plans, he added, were being hatched over the phone and would need to be disseminated in the worldwide media.
Accusing PTI Chairman Imran Khan of trying to deceive the country with his farce, Rana Sanaullah lashed out at Khan. The end of the road for Imran’s politics, he said. All those responsible for the events on May 9 will now face consequences.
The minister was alluding to the mayhem that broke out throughout the country on May 9 when the PTI chairman was arrested in a corruption case. Workers and supporters of the PTI stormed civic and military institutions after the detention.
According to the minister, both Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir have issued directives to the appropriate authorities to prevent any innocent people from becoming collateral damage in the investigation into the events of May 9.
