“We have contacted the Sindh police and government,” Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove told The Express Tribune.
The assailants, he assured us, would be punished. Massive police contingents from Balochistan and Sindh provinces have arrived in the Jageer neighborhood of Jacobaad in search of the attackers. Jaffarabad and Jacobabad, two cities in the same province, have increased their security measures in order to facilitate the capture of the perpetrators, Langove noted.
Balochistan’s chief minister, Mir Quddus Bizenjo, has ordered the arrest of those responsible for the attack and has issued a strong condemnation of the incident. The CM issued a statement following the attack promising that the perpetrators would face justice and be punished severely. Police officers, according to the CM, sacrificed their lives to help find the stolen son of a mill owner. Prior to the time this article was written, no one has been taken into custody.
