Today is recognized as Kashmir Solidarity Day in Pakistan.
Events such as ceremonies, rallies, gatherings, and processions are going to take place in cities all around the country.

ISLAMABAD: On Sunday, Pakistan and many other nations around the world will observe Kashmir Solidarity Day with ceremonies, protests, meetings, and processions.
The nation is observing a public holiday as the president, prime minister, military, and others have sent words of support.
On the Mangla bridge that between Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, a human chain was formed, and a minute of silence was observed when a siren sounded at 10 am.
Political and social organisations will also hold rallies in various places across the nation to draw attention to the Kashmir problem. Solidarity marches have been organised in the capital cities of Islamabad, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit, and four of the provinces.
Today in Muzaffarabad, the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will speak at a special meeting of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.
The prime minister stated in his message that Pakistan as a whole has come together to show unflinching solidarity and support with its Kashmiri brothers and sisters.
“I want to reassure our Kashmiri brothers and sisters that we stand shoulder to shoulder with them on behalf of the whole Pakistani nation. Until they are liberated from Indian oppression, we will continue to support their just cause on a moral, diplomatic, and political level, he declared.
According to the prime minister, India is misguided if it thinks it can break the resolute will of the Kashmiri people. The Indian Occupation Forces’ state terrorism, the premier declared, “cannot break the will of the Kashmiris or undermine their legitimate resistance.”
“With their sacrifices, the people of Kashmir have kept the flame of independence blazing. Their aspirations will undoubtedly come true soon, he assured them.
The prime minister encouraged India to keep its promises to Pakistan, the UN, and, most importantly, the people of Kashmir.
In a separate message, President Dr. Arif Alvi stated that Pakistan has consistently maintained that only in accordance with the pertinent United Nations Security Council (UNSC) decisions and the desires of the Kashmiri people was a durable resolution to the Kashmir dispute feasible.
The president stated, “Pakistan also asks the international community and organisations to take concrete actions to hold India accountable for its flagrant and pervasive human rights violations in IIOJK.
The final resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir Dispute would be made in accordance with the will of the people, expressed through the democratic method of a free and impartial plebiscite held under the auspices of the United Nations, he stressed. “We observe this day to draw the attention of the international community towards the relevant UN Security Council resolutions,” he added.
The Chairman of the Joint Heads of Staff Committee (CJCSC), services chiefs, and soldiers were represented by the spokesperson for the Pakistani Armed Forces, Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, who paid honour to the Kashmiri resistance.
He said in a tweet that no amount of horrors could quell the Kashmiri people’s desire for freedom.
Today is Kashmir Solidarity Day, which is celebrated with a renewed commitment to assist Kashmiris in their just struggle for their unalienable right to self-determination as guaranteed by the pertinent UN resolutions.
The day will also be observed to draw attention to the persecution that Indian occupation forces are doing against Kashmiris in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Every year, Pakistan celebrates Kashmir Solidarity Day in order to renew its love and affection for the people of IIOJK as well as its commitment to the liberation of the occupied valley from Indian rule.
Italy hosts a rally
To observe Kashmir Solidarity Day, the Pakistan United Federation in Italy organised a protest march and meeting. One of the largest protests that have taken place in Europe in recent memory.
Participants in the event held up signs and shouted protests against Modi and the terrorism in IIOJK while also expressing their support for the Pakistani Army.
At the Kashmir Conference, speakers included Chaudhry Pervaiz Iqbal, Chaudhry Tazamul Hussain, Syed Sajjad Bukhari, Ihtisham Siddique, and Chaudhry Faisal.
The speakers criticised the cruelty practised by Indian forces in IIOJK and urged the United Nations to take action.
They emphasised that Kashmiris should have the right to self-determination in accordance with UN resolutions.
The speakers at this event also stated that the Pakistan Army is responsible for maintaining the country’s security and that its soldiers defend the country by giving their life while defending its boundaries.
