Claims made by Covid-19 Karachi has lost two lives, and there are 18 people who are in critical condition. The positivity ratio is at 1.03 percent.

ISLAMABAD: According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), 40 new instances of Covid-19 have been recorded nationwide over the past day.
According to information provided by the NIH, two people from Karachi died as a result of the virus in the previous day.
The health authorities further stated that 18 patients were in serious condition and the positive ratio was 1.03 percent. 3,881 covid-19 tests were performed across the nation in the previous 24 hours.
The health agency added that 14 people had positive test results out of the 376 tests performed in Lahore in the previous 24 hours, bringing the positivity rate to 3.72 percent.

Additionally, 269 Covid-19 tests were performed in the federal capital over the past 24 hours, but just two of the results were positive, yielding a positivity rate of 0.74 percent.
129 people in Gilgit were tested for the virus during the course of the last day; one result was positive, making the positivity rate 0.78 percent.
One of 354 individuals tested positive for the virus in Gujranwala. The percentage of positive was 0.28 percent.
Abdul Qadir Patel, Pakistan’s health minister, stated last month that the government had increased the involvement of the border and health services to deal with any Covid-19 subvariants.
The minister claimed that airports and all other points of entrance into the nation were monitored.
All airports will conduct quick tests and passenger screenings, he added.
Patel also reassured everyone that everything was under control and urged them not to believe rumours.
He said that 90% of the population has already received the Covid-19 vaccine.
The minister said, “An effective system with a proper management team is fully operational in the country to remain vigilant and is ready to make an emergency plan to deal with any sub-variant of Covid-19.”
