A FURTHER SIX CARETAKER MINISTERS FROM BALOCHISTAN HAVE TAKEN THEIR OATHS OF OFFICE.

In the second stage, on Wednesday night in QUETTA, six people were sworn in as the caretaker Balochistan government.

The newly appointed caretaker cabinet took their oaths of office under the direction of Balochistan Governor Malik Abdul Wali Kakar.

The oath-taking event was also attended by Ali Mardan Domki, the caretaker chief minister of Balochistan, provincial ministers, senior officials, and citizens from all walks of life.

Ministers Nawabzada Jamal Raisani, Dr. Amir Muhammad Khan Jogezai, Amanullah Kanrani, Sheikh Mehmoodul Hassan, and Sardar Ejaz Jaffar are acting in their positions temporarily.

Amanullah Kanrani will be in charge of health, while Nawabzada Jamal Raisani will be in charge of law and parliament, Asifur Rehman will be in charge of sports and youth, Sheikh Mehmoodul Hassan will be in charge of intra-provincial coordination, and Sardar Ejaz Jaffar will be in charge of population.

On August 22, Prince Ahmed Ali, Amjad Rasheed, Jan Achakzai, Captain (ret.) Zubair Jamali, and former Mir Chakar Khan Rind University vice-chancellor Abdul Qadir Baloch were sworn in as the five members of the Balochistan cabinet.

Domki, the caretaker prime minister of Balochistan, said that the first government could have as many as 13 members.

He stressed that the government’s top priority is holding fair and peaceful elections.
