ISTANBUL — On Monday, an Afghan delegation headed by acting Foreign Minister Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi boarded a flight to Russia to participate in a meeting organized in the Moscow format.
During the meeting, the group is expected to discuss a wide range of political and economic topics, as stated by the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Later on this week, the meeting will take place in Kazan, which is the capital of the Tatarstan Republic within the Russian Federation, according to Hafiz Zia Ahmad, the deputy spokesperson for the ministry, who made the announcement on X.
A stop in Moscow is also scheduled for the delegation before they fly to Kazan.
