ISLAMABAD: According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, former army chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa acknowledged to a journalist that he overthrew the PTI administration and demanded an investigation within the army.

He claimed that the Bajwa policy was still in effect during an interview with a private TV network. “General Bajwa bragged about having the power to choose the direction of the administration. People believed that General Bajwa was to blame for the government’s downfall.

Imran said that he had personally acknowledged General Bajwa’s lifting of the veil. “The populace realised that the army leader was responsible for overthrowing the government. They banded together and overthrew our administration.

In response to a query, he said that they were working together with the Election Commission and that “there cannot be a transparent election, as policemen have been chosen to rig the election.”

It appears that Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa will have elections in 90 days.
