BALOCHISTAN MOURNS ITS FALLEN POLICE OFFICERS

At the Central Police Office in Quetta on Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Police (Martyrdom Day of Police), Governor of Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Kakar honored the bravery and selflessness of police officials in Balochistan.

In his speech, Governor Kakar lauded the efforts of the police, Pak Army, Frontier Corps, Levies, and other law enforcement organizations for keeping the province safe. He spoke highly of the Balochistan police force, praising them for their efforts to root out terrorist activity and other criminal activity.

The Governor remarked that the hundreds of Balochistan police martyrs who died defending the peace and safeguarding the lives and property of citizens are the actual heroes of the nation.

At the event, Additional IG of Police Jawad Ahmad Dogar paid tribute to the over a thousand members of the Balochistan Police who had given their lives in the struggle against criminal elements and for the establishment of law and order. He stressed the point that the martyrs’ deaths would result in a safer country in the future.

Jawad Ahmad Dogar, the Inspector General of the Balochistan Police, expressed gratitude by saying that the well-being of the families of the martyrs continues to be a major priority. He praised the government of Balochistan for raising the Shuhada Package, which aids the families of dead police officers. Former Senator Roshan Khursheed Bharucha was among the notables in attendance.
