PTI leader Asad Qaiser released an impassioned video speech in which he demanded an end to what he called the “propaganda” being spread about his party.
After the bloodshed on May 9, Qaiser remained steady in his demand for free and fair elections throughout the country.
“The one-sided propaganda being waged against the PTI and Imran Khan is only serving to boost our popularity,” Qaiser maintained, expressing unshakeable confidence in the party’s resiliency. He blasted the current administration, saying that inflation and poor leadership were problems under their watch.
Qaiser called attention to the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and requested proof of their beneficial contributions to the country, stressing that Pakistan needed mercy from the influential sectors in order to secure its future. To prevent harm to the country, he emphasised the necessity of holding free and fair elections in accordance with the constitution.
Qaiser has expressed alarm over the purported “illegal and unlawful” crackdowns on PTI, stating that these actions violate the party’s constitutionally protected right to freedom of expression and political engagement. He condemned the purported raids on the homes of PTI members and leaders as illegal and unconstitutional.
Qaiser questioned the PTI’s targeting, wondering if it would lead Pakistan national stability. He said that the nation should vote on whether to reinstate the PTI chairman or choose a new leader because it is the people’s prerogative to choose the ruling party.
