In the last two games of the five-game T20I series against New Zealand at the Rawalpindi cricket stadium, Pakistan’s right-arm fast bowler, Haris Rauf, is on the cusp of shattering a long-standing record.
With this five-match T20I series, Rauf has a great chance to surpass Jason Holder, a former West Indies captain, as the bowler with the most wickets.
In a five-match Twenty20 International series against England in 2021, Jason took a record 15 wickets. Haris, on the other hand, has to take only six more wickets than Holder did in his whole career to break the record.
With their victory on Monday at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore, New Zealand cut Pakistan’s lead to 2-1 in the ongoing five-game series.
