According to Express News, on Friday, authorities arrested Kamran Bangash, a key leader in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Shortly after receiving information about Bangash’s movements, authorities made the arrest near his home near Peshawar’s road toll plaza. Female police officers were present during the operation.
After the arrest of PTI chief Imran Khan on May 9, unrest erupted, and Bangash was arrested in connection with complaints reported at the Kabli police station.
This comes after the Supreme Court upheld a PHC judgment that granted blanket bail to PTI leaders just a few days ago.
While hearing an appeal against the PHC verdict on August 4, 2023, Justices Sardar Tariq Masood and Mussarat Hilali halted the order because they disagreed with the high court’s decision to provide blanket relief.
Asad Qaiser, Rangaiz Ahmed, Aqibullah, and Attaulah are all prominent members of the PTI, however, the PHC has previously blocked their arrest along with that of other PTI members.
