Security at the Miami show gets surprised by a Lady Gaga imitation drag queen.
On September 17, Lady Gaga performed in Miami for the Chromatica Ball tour’s last show.
An online video of a security officer who mistaken a drag queen for the Bad Romance singer went viral after the performance was abruptly cut short during a threatening rain and lightning storm.
Drag performer Penelopy Jean, who goes by the moniker “Dollar Tree Gaga,” reposted the video.
The amusing video showed Jean wearing a stunning ensemble that was very reminiscent of Gaga’s as a security guard followed her through a busy corridor and protected her from concertgoers.
She told the guard, “I’m a drag queen, I’m not Lady Gaga,” which shocked and surprised him.
The video went viral and received a lot of internet feedback. Someone said, “You looked exactly like her! When I first saw you last night, I had to take a second look. Fantastic tenfold!
Due to the harsh weather, the House of Gucci star had to shorten her Miami performance.
She posted an emotional video on her Instagram account to express her regret to her followers. “I’m sorry, but I had to leave before the concert was through.
