Two days ago, prayers were said for Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hassan Haider at Chaklala Garrison in Rawalpindi, according to a release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The army officer and three men were killed the day before while on an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Tirah Valley area.
A lot of top civilian and military officers, soldiers, citizens, and family members of the martyr were at the funeral service, along with interim Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, the defence minister, the CJCSC, the COAS, and many other important people.
“Funeral prayers of Naik Khushdil Khan (age 31 years, resident of District Lakki Marwat), Naik Rafique Khan (age 27 years, resident of District Charsadda) and Lance Naik Abdul Qadir (age 33 years, resident of District Murree) were also offered at their respective hometowns.”
Military honours were given to the fallen when they were buried.
A lot of people came to the funeral to honour the martyrs, including officers, troops, grieving family members, and people from the area.
According to the ISPR, these brave actions by the soldiers who died make the Pakistan Army even more determined and brave in its fight against terrorists.
In addition, it said that the fight against terrorists would go on until there was no more terrorism left.
