On Thursday, the country will celebrate Pakistan Day with a renewed commitment to achieving Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s goals of making Pakistan a “genuine Islamic welfare state” and ensuring its advancement, prosperity, and robust defense.

The day is marked in remembrance of the momentous Lahore Resolution, which was adopted on March 23, 1940, and set the subcontinent’s Muslims’ goal of creating a separate nation.

The day began with a 21-gun salute in the nation’s regional capitals and a 31-gun salute in the federal capital.

After Fajr prayers, special prayers were said in the mosques for the development and prosperity of the nation.

In order to emphasize the significance of the day and show respect to the founders and laborers of the Pakistan Movement, Radio Pakistan and PTV are airing special programming.

The Pakistan Day military parade at Aiwan-e-Sadr has been postponed until Saturday, March 25, due to poor weather.

To emphasize the significance of March 23, numerous events and sporting activities are taking place around the province of Balochistan.

Quetta’s Governor House will host an investiture event. Governor of Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Kakar will present honors to individuals for their excellent achievements in various disciplines.

The statement on Pakistan Day from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Pakistan’s future depends on upholding the Constitution in letter and spirit. Pakistan was created as a consequence of political and constitutional struggle.

The prime minister predicted that Pakistan would rise to tremendous heights. Yet in order for this to happen, he insisted that we must establish unity within our ranks, arm ourselves with a sense of purpose for the country, and make a commitment to fight in the tradition of our forebears.

He continued by saying that the founding of our country was unquestionably a miracle of the 20th century.

According to the prime minister, Pakistan has always acted responsibly as a member of the international community in resolving issues affecting mankind and fostering world peace.
