BEIJING: China and Pakistan are determined to work together to upgrade the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and Pakistan looks forward to expanding bilateral cooperation in a number of areas and benefitting from China’s experience in development and governance.
Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri, the chairman of the Understanding China Forum and a former foreign minister, made these statements in Beijing.
Since 2019, we have traveled to China twice. We have personally observed China’s most recent accomplishments in its superior development, particularly its noteworthy advancements in ecological preservation,” he remarked.
Leading a delegation from the Pakistan-based think tank Understanding China Forum on a visit to China last week, Kasuri declared, “Understanding China Forum is willing to continue to give full play to the role of think tanks in serving government decision-making and enhancing people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, to contribute to the development of Pakistan-China relations.”
