The premier thanked the cabinet and others for their efforts, emphasized the favorable reception the Saudi delegation got, and acknowledged the timely preparations made by authorities and ministers.

In the course of the discussion, Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed his gratitude to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his keen interest in Pakistan, citing this as the reason behind the delegation’s successful visit.

The prime minister continued, “We have to make sure that this investment in Pakistan is completed with the same spirit and dedication.” The premier issued a warning, saying, “No obstacles or hindrances in this regard will be allowed.”

“If we persist in our efforts, Pakistan’s development, prosperity, and economic stability are within reach,” said the prime minister.
The visiting high-ranking Saudi delegation, headed by Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the country’s foreign minister, was given a dinner reception by the premier last night.

As to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) statement, the team met with the PM yesterday and discussed several investment projects, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

At their meeting in Makkah earlier this month on April 8, the premier and the crown prince talked about bilateral relations and topics of mutual interest. They also talked about moving forward with a $5 billion investment package that was planned.
