The eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which begins on February 13 and runs through March 19, will include a new trophy that will be unveiled by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The ceremony will take place on February 9 at the Shalimar Bagh in Lahore and will include the captains of all six franchises and PCB Chairman Najam Sethi.
According to a PCB official, the new trophy is made to better reflect Pakistan and its cricket.
“Yes, the eighth edition victors will receive the newly created trophy. The trophy that was utilised and given to victors of the previous seven editions won’t be there anymore, according to a PCB official.
The new trophy, which has a superior appearance, will be unveiled on February 9 at the Shalimar Garden. The captains of Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultan will be on hand. All of the captains are trying to attend the trophy revealing ceremony, he continued.
The Multan Stadium will host the opening game on February 13 between the Lahore Qalandars and the Multan Sultans.
It’s anticipated that the ceremony will be a major occasion with lots of fun activities.
