KARACHI: In the case of explosives and illegal weaponry, the Anti Terrorism Administrative Court has placed two suspected agents of the Indian intelligence agency RAW, who were apprehended from Korangi Industrial Area, under a three-day remand.
The two alleged agents, Khawar and Jabir, were presented by the police with their faces tightly concealed.
According to the investigating officer, the accused have extensive training for terrorist actions and are active in both target killing and terrorism.
They had two hand grenades and guns that were found. The accused used to investigate the targets at the request of their superiors, who were located outside of the nation, and forward the information to them.
Payments from overseas have also been made to the accused. High-profile suspects should be placed under physical remand so that a thorough investigation can be conducted.
