The Pasban Democratic Party Chairman has voiced his displeasure about rising drug prices.

KARACHI — Pasban Democratic Party Chairman Altaf Shakoor has voiced concern over the impact of rising drug prices on low-income families.
He claims the pharmaceutical business is taking advantage of patients and has demanded swift action to address the crisis.
Shakoor has called for a decrease in the cost of life-saving medications, enhancements to public health facilities, and the creation of district-level teaching hospitals. He has also advocated for all emergency departments to be made free to the public.
The administration has been criticized by Shakoor for prioritizing the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry over those of the general public.
