According to the source, the terrorist organization has plans to attack Imran during electioneering.
A report from the Ministry of Defence warns that Federal Ministers Sanaullah and Khawaja Asif might potentially be targeted by a proscribed terrorist organization.

According to a confidential dossier by the Ministry of Defence, a proscribed terrorist organisation intends to attack Imran Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), as well as other prominent political figures in the nation, according to a story published on Sunday by Express News.
Early this week, the Ministry of Defence submitted its report to the Supreme Court in the Punjab polls delay case, stating that India’s top spy agency had intended to use the nation’s fault lines to harm the Federation of Pakistan if elections for the Punjab Assembly were held before elections for the national legislature and other provincial assemblies.
“RAW [Research and Analysis Wing] has identified fault lines to undermine the federation of Pakistan, particularly [by fanning] ethnic conflicts, water disputes, [the purported] resource theft and monopoly of Punjab, and, as terrorists claim in Balochistan, the colonisation by Punjab. Therefore, the ministry stated in the report it filed to the Supreme Court on Tuesday, holding general elections for the Punjab Assembly will exacerbate the issue.
However, classified portions of the dossier surfaced earlier today, revealing that in addition to Imran Khan, the defence minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif and the interior minister Rana Sanaullah may also be targeted by adversaries seeking to undermine the stability of the nation.
An attack on Imran Khan during public rallies or by “malicious religious fanatics” is possible, the paper said.
The leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) may be targeted by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), an illegal organisation, or by prohibited groups that get funding from abroad.
