Bushra Bibi, the wife of former premier Imran Khan, was granted pre-arrest release on Tuesday by an accountability court in Islamabad, which will keep her out of jail until September 12.

Bushra Bibi and her attorneys Latif Khosa and Intizar Hussain Panjutha arrived in court. Her bail application was granted, and she was released on a Rs500,000 surety bond.
Duty Since Judge Muhammad Bashir was absent on leave, the decision was read by Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain.
Bills to alter the Army Act and the Official Secrets Act are signed into law.
Toshakhana and Al-Qadir University Trust are just two of the graft cases in which Bushra Bibi is a suspect.
However, despite the Islamabad High Court having postponed the three-year prison term imposed to former premier and current Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran in the Toshakhana case, he has been ordered to be detained in the judicial lockup.
On Wednesday (tomorrow), he will have a hearing in connection with the cipher matter before a special court established to consider charges under the Official Secrets Act (Amendment) 2023.
