Pakistan’s unemployment rate hit a record high of 6.5% on Tuesday, putting the country at number 24 on the World of Statistics’ global ranking.

Nigeria topped the list with 33.3% of its workforce unemployed, making it the country with the highest unemployment rate in the world. South Africa, which ranks second with an unemployment rate of 32.9%, is experiencing a similar crisis.
The unemployment rate in Bosnia and Herzegovina is 29.28%. Afghanistan and Iraq both have rates that are 13.3% higher than the average. In both the UK and the US, the rate sits at 3.8%.
In addition, both China and Canada have an unemployment rate of 5.2%. With an unemployment rate of 4.7%, Bangladesh ranks at #34 globally, well below the 0.1% rate in Qatar, which ranks no 1.
