ISLAMABAD:
On Monday, a two-judge panel at the Peshawar High Court (PHC) ordered the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) to provide information about the investigations and prosecutions of PTI leaders Shehryar Afridi and Irfan Saleem.

Shah Faisal Atmanakhil and Advocate Arsal Ali appeared before a bench consisting of Justice Syed Arshad Ali and Justice Waqar Ahmed to present their plea.
The petitioners’ solicitors asked the court for a complete list of all proceedings and investigations opened in their clients’ names. The court adjourned the hearing until Tuesday, July 11, and ordered the provincial government to produce case and inquiry details.
Five more PTI employees detained for vandalism on May 9 and 10 have also been brought before an anti-terrorism court.
The police officer in charge of the investigation testified in court that they needed to look into the allegations against Usman, Khaista Gul, Mansoor, Zafar Khan, and Nasir.
He stated that the accused had a case filed against them at the Khan Raziq Shaheed Police Station and asked for their physical remand.
All of the suspects were placed on one-day physical remand with the police so that they could be questioned.
