Where did you go?
SABOOR ALY: I travelled to various states in the United States of America.
What made you go there?
SA: I have continuously been working for months now, since I’ve been swamped with multiple projects and now it was time to take a much-needed break! It had always been a dream to visit the USA and different places there, and I have just fulfilled my dreams and my bucket list with this trip.
What did you pack?
SA: I tried to keep my luggage as minimal as possible. A few t-shirts and a couple of jeans and pants that I can mix and match to create different outfits, some jewellery and comfortable shoes of course. I kept some space for a bit of shopping. Other than clothes, I made sure to pack my daily skincare essentials.
What was your favourite restaurant?
SA: I really liked The Cheesecake Factory.
What was the biggest highlight of your trip/most memorable moment?
SA: The visit to Orlando! I have always wanted to go to Disneyland and on the Universal Studio’s Harry Potter ride. I`m a big fan of Harry Potter and I’ve gotten to live the dream of a true Potterhead on this trip.
Favourite shopping destination?
SA: My favourite shopping place so far has been the Ontario Mills in California.
Some sights worth seeing?
SA: Laguna Beach.
What are some spots for a night out?
SA: Las Vegas is perfect for a night out.
Travel essentials?
SA: Money!
Any travel tips you would like to share?
SA: Take a lot of money with you, but make sure to spend it on creating memories and experiences, instead of wasting it on shopping. Things get old and fade away, but experiences don’t. Visit different places, see new cultures, interact with different people and try to explore as much as you can.
