Parts of the United Arab Emirates have seen torrential rains, which have flooded some roads and stopped traffic in Dubai.

The usage of the Dubai Metro for necessary trips has been emphasized by authorities, who are advising citizens to choose remote work.

Many people of Dubai responded to the request by choosing the metro for their daily commute, including well-known individuals like Rizwan Sajan, the founder and chairman of Danube Group.

In a post on his Instagram account, Sajan, a well-known social media influencer with over 550,000 followers, praised the metro’s effectiveness and ease.

The billionaire posted on Instagram, “You will always find a way to make it happen when you have the will.”

On April 16, a video of singer Rahul Vaidya going knee-deep through flooded streets in Dubai went viral.

In addition, Chrissy Teigen had shared photos of her five-hour wait at Dubai Airport after an earlier April 7 flight delay that had nothing to do with the weather.

Teigen’s open Instagram posts revealed her battling the prolonged wait together with her spouse and their surrogate-born children, 14-month-old Esti Maxine and 9-month-old Wren Alexander.

The UAE’s people continue to face a dire transportation crisis, with a variety of vehicles—from tiny automobiles to enormous jets—submerged in floodwater.

The extreme weather in the city caused tremendous damage even to the famed Dubai Mall.
